Additional Info: I’ve supported my wife and family in Wellesley for 21 years. We are now going through a divorce and she just received an inheritance of over $500,000. Am I entitled to 50% of my wife’s inheritance in our divorce?

An inheritance is a marital asset that is subject to equitable division, but it may not be a 50-50 split. As stated, the Court looks at several factors including length of marriage, how long ago the inheritance was received, to what extent the parties relied on the inheritance, etc.
